Tu Tāne
Cultural Consultant
Leading positive pathways through
cultural reconnection
Tū Tāne, Tū Tangata,
Tū Rangatira.
Tu Tāne was the name given by some of our most vulnerable young people for the work we do together. Since 2018 we have developed ways of working with our Māori and Pacific Island communities to build creditable programmes which help reconnect them with their cultural roots and identity.
“Tu Tāne is a way for our people to use culture as a way to reconnect – with their own identity, but also with their whānau and community.”
We work with our people and our communities in ways that resonates with them, to support them on their own cultural journeys by providing a safe space, guidance and support using traditional knowledge and practices.
“Kia Tu Maia, Kia Tu Pakari, Kia Tu Rangatira ai tatou”
